BubbleDrum X 1.2

We come, we come with BubbleDrum: ta-runda runda runda rum!
We come, we come with BubbleDrum: yo ho, did someone mention rum?
To MelonSoft! Though MelonSoft be ringed around with pithy rind;
Though MelonSoft be unripe fruit, with many seeds for us to find,
We go, we go, we download toys: we beat the drum, we make the noise;
Our ears abuzz, our fingers sore, the rhythm roars — we lose our mind!
We quickly tire of scratch and slap — we want the snare, we want the tap!
Oh, MelonSoft, we blame the rum:
We can’t pay ten bucks for your drum.

But we can bestow a percussive 2.2 upon the swollen pink fortress of MelonSoft— partly to reward its lickability, and mostly to make our readers crazy. Ha ha ha!

Is this app MwRB? In any event, the website for Melonsoft is a chartreuse nightmare. For some reason, it reminds me vaguely of XP. The horror! The horror!

You owe the estate of JRR Tolkien exactly twenty-five pence.

We're sorry, but we, the readers, have already been insane for some time. (Especially that bastard Moltz)
Thanks, though, for submitting your 2.2!

Morbo loves reading clever word play with his mighty eyeballs! Bubble Drum! Ha Ha Ha! I WILL DESTROY YOU!

Posted by: Morbo on October 1, 2003 01:56 PM

About what I said about Inquisitional activities regarding the Hereticus Ordo not functioning until the Bubble Drum review is no longer latest review? Yeah, that holds true...so good luck getting rid of Morbo...mmmm...colors and hittable objects....

A 2.2 may be too too generous, but it has the audio punnage power that I look for in a score. Because it sounds kind of like tattoo... and, you know, drums... um... well.. SO! HA HA!

If I got a tattoo of a fancy chicken on my ass, would that seem weird to you?

Ta runda runda runda rum!

Posted by: naomi on October 1, 2003 07:27 PM

I actually think that Morbo belongs to Xenos. He is, after all, an alien. A particularly hysterical one. But that will not save him. What's The Inquisitor over at Xenos' number? I always forget.

Did someone metion rum? My ears were burning for a second there. Huh. Oh well.

How did they do that cool background image in the .dmg file? I am living fast and loose with the word "cool" there. That's not he point though. I must obtain this knowledge.

It seems we are lacking an Ordo Xenos Inquisitor currently investigating this sector. That being said, job applications will be continuing though my other duties will be halted. Apply by posting or email.

Laem,
I have experience as mall security. Does that qualify?

Posted by: Hodag on October 2, 2003 09:30 AM

Well, its not the same kind of experience we'd like, but its better than nothing. Are you prepared to hunt down and exterminate alien species that pose a threat to humanity? Are you prepared to be willing to sacrifice an entire planetary popualtion to help save countless lives? Are you in any way affiliated with the GMC? Do you have a driver's license? What number am I thinking of? Can you move that big wooden block with your mind or light it on fire with your mind? Are you prepared to sacrifice your personal life for the greater good of your species? If the answer to some of these questions is 'yes' you may be a candidate for Inquisitional trianing. If you answered 'yes' to other questions, you may be a spy.

Posted by: Laemkral on October 2, 2003 05:34 PM

Yes. Yes. No. Yes. 42 Yes and No. No.

Posted by: Hodag on October 2, 2003 06:38 PM

I am sorry Hodag, but the sacrifice of one's personal life is essential to being an Inquisitor as you must be prepared to put others before yourself...I knew of one fellow who forgot that, named Draco, and he ended up doing some pretty bad stuff....Sorry, but we'll keep your application on file....
