MasterRoller Plus 1.0

Advanced Dungeons and Dragons fans, you have another excuse never to leave your parent’s basement! Master Roller Plus joins the legions of dice rolling applications, and offers basically one feature - the ability to roll a die with an arbitrary number of sides. Apparently there are also some “planned features” which are indicated by the disabled controls in the window. Oh, I am about to swoon from your hint about the wondrous “floating point die” that will soon be implemented. I am anticipating the next release of Master Roller Plus even more than 10.2.4!

After rolling a few dice, amazingly, the random numbers scroll out of view, and must be scrolled back in manually. Like a syphilitic wombat, the scrolling view returns to the top as soon as you roll another die.

Master Software, I don’t know what you crazed Australians like to waste your money on, but $50 AUS (158.13 Botswana Pula) seems rich for my tastes.

Given your insane price, and wonderful lack of features, Master Roller receives an 10.3. The only way it could climb further towards the coveted “11” rating, would be if it was implemented in REALbasic.

How about adding your broken layout to the list of broken software? The page is constantly wider than the view.

Looks fine in Mozilla for Windows.

Hey, this would be much more interesting if you had icons & screenshots à la www.chezmark.com .

Eli: How about adding my FIST to your FACE?

It's not in RealBASIC, but it IS Cocoa-Java - almost as bad!

"Like a syphilitic wombat, the scrolling view returns to the top as soon as you roll another die."

Syphilitic wombats do not roll dice. Nice try.

How do you know if they roll dice, mneptok? Do you have a herd of them in your backyard? Did you at least try to give them the dice and show them how to roll?

I think your blanket statement expresses severe prejudice towards syphilitic wombats.

""Like a syphilitic wombat, the scrolling view returns to the top as soon as you roll another die."

"Syphilitic wombats do not roll dice. Nice try."

This seems like creative misinterpretation to me. Surely you should be complaining that syphilitic wombats don't return to the top?

In any event, we all know that it's god that doesn't roll dice.
