Posted by: The Valrus on February 2, 2004 07:28 PMWhere can I download this wayyy cool app? I'd love to make pointless bicycle piles of my own!
Posted by: Uncertain Future on February 2, 2004 07:50 PMYum... bikes.
Posted by: John Schilling on February 2, 2004 07:58 PMWho rode the one without a reat wheel? That was a neat trick.
Posted by: Uncertain Future on February 3, 2004 08:02 AMi'm more curious why the house in the background still has 3 windows worth of christmas lights up. Were they lazy putting them up and only did the one bay, or did they get tired pulling down the others and just say "screw it" after that?
Posted by: on February 3, 2004 08:44 AMBicycle orgy complete with chains! All we need now is some whips and nipple clamps and the picture would be complete.
Posted by: Norm O. Tidwell on February 3, 2004 11:42 AMIs that in Portland? Across from Rocco's Pizza?
Posted by: Portlander on February 3, 2004 02:03 PMYep, that's in Portland, across from Rocco's Pizza. I was on my way home from work when I spotted it.
I thought so, too. I was driving by Rocco's and saw the very same pile. By the way this is all a lie, I live in Lawrence, Kansas. Thanks for the great basketball players, Portland. Tough loss to The Cardinal the other day, I thought you had 'em. Oh well.
Posted by: Nick on February 3, 2004 02:18 PMI ran a few tests on A Mysterious Pile of Bicycles, and have to say that I was unimpressed. There were distinct inefficiencies in how the PCI bus interacted with ISA activities that could result in system crashes in both beige-era and B+W Macs. I hate to say this, but Microsoft's 'Sir Billy's Bicycle Bondage' still has the edge in the Restrained Mobility Mechanism software division. Of course, some of the bugs might be fixed in the MPOB Service Pack 1 release.
Posted by: Leibnitz, N. on February 3, 2004 05:05 PMModified Children's Bikes - would that be modified bicycles for children or bicycles for modified children ?

Yes, I witnessed this as well.
I thought it might have represented the penetration into our universe of a chronosynclastic infundibulum.
